STUDENT BEGINNING STRINGS

An introductory ensemble for students in their first two years of playing an orchestral string instrument: violin, viola, cello, or bass. No previous experience needed.

Quick Information
​

Note: This class is only for students in grades 4 - 8. Younger students who are taking private lessons may participate on a case-by-case basis.  High school students may take part in Adult Beginning Strings at no charge.

Rehearsals:

  • Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6:45 PM | January 16 - March 12 (Winter)

  • Rehearsals are at Chief Sealth International High School

 
Concert:​​

  • The Beginning Strings classes put on one concert per season. The 2023/24 Season's concert will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Chief Sealth International High School
